2024 was the worst year of my life. I was dealing with a totally unexpected illness that upended my life and I was thisclose to losing my business.
Reality slapped me in the face when my business development pipeline dried up after I was pretty much house bound for almost a year.
No networking, meetings and events meant no new business and no growth.
Opening a business during the pandemic taught me new, out of the box methods to start empHowered PR. But, when just getting out of bed takes everything you have to give, the last thing you want to do is … be “on.”
Many thanks to the Worcester Business Journal for the opportunity to share what I learned during my illness and how I fought for my business (and my life) with a lot of help from my friends.
I hope it helps my fellow Indies think about how they would pivot their business should their life be turned upside down!
To all those who stood by me, thank you.
